Introduction
The MENDAKI Talent Scholarship (University) is looking for talented, young Malay/Muslim students with good academic results, strong critical minds, and leadership qualities to join MENDAKI as full-time staff, and eventually hold key positions as they progress and build a career in the organisation.
Scholarship Coverage
- All tuition and compulsory fees for up to $25,000 per year. For applicants who are eligible for Tertiary Tuition Fees Subsidy (TTFS), the scholarship will only cover the difference in the tuition fees not covered by TTFS.
- An allowance of $1,000 per month throughout the duration of the course of study.
- Provision for participation in a range of learning opportunities such as Overseas Exchange Programmes, Summer Schools and relevant Future-Ready programmes organised by MENDAKI for up to $10,000 per year.
Bond Period
The bond period is three (3) years for a degree programme.
Learning Opportunities
Further to receiving the scholarship, the recipients will be provided with learning opportunities during the university-term break in the form of:
- Structured Internship
The recipients will undergo a structured 4 to 8-week internship annually with relevant departments in MENDAKI during the course of their study. This will give them an early exposure to the work in MENDAKI and enable them to put to practice what they had learnt in the university in real-live situations and build their portfolio. Recipients will be excused from this internship if their course of study already require them to undergo internship with other organisation as part of the course curriculum.
- Mentoring
Each of the recipients will be matched by MENDAKI to a young professional in the same field of study who had been trained by MENDAKI Future Ready Team in Gift-Centred Mentoring philosophy to serve as a mentor to them.
- Future-Ready Programme
Recipients will also be invited to participate in relevant future-ready programmes organised by MENDAKI Future Ready Team such as “Future of Series” workshop, Next Stop seminar, #MakingConnections event to expose them to the latest development in the working landscape and enable them to network with other professionals.

Eligibility Criteria
- Malay/Muslim Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents of Singapore.
- Have obtained admission to do a full-time degree programme in any of the following autonomous universities in Singapore in courses of study that are relevant to MENDAKI business:
- National University Singapore (NUS)
- Nanyang Technology University (NTU)
- Singapore Management University (SMU)
- Singapore Institute of Management (SIM)
- Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)
- Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD); or
- Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
- Have obtained outstanding results in:
- GCE ‘A’ level with three (3) distinctions (including General Paper);
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with a minimum aggregate of 37 points;
- Polytechnic diploma with a Certificate of Merit; and/or
- Equivalent qualification.
- Have completed their National Service for male applicants.
- Have good records of active participation in co-curricular activities.
- Not in receipt of any other scholarships.
Condition
- Applicants will only be considered upon receipt of all fully completed documents required. Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend interview(s) and only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
Mandatory documents required to submit application
- Front and Back Copy of NRIC.
- Recent Academic Results.
- Letter of acceptance from Institution.

- Parents or Guardian Latest Payslip / Letter from Employer Confirming Latest CPF statement.

- Other supporting documents, if any.
Please note that incomplete applications and/or incomplete documents will not be processed. Applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected.
